When can I make a reservation?

Reservations are accepted from 180 days in advance.

Can I book for 4 or fewer people?

Yes, booking for 4 or fewer people is possible. Please enjoy the luxury of having the entire traditional house to yourself!

What should I do if my check-in is late?

If you pay in advance, you can use self-check-in to enter at any time. If you are paying in cash on the day, please let us know your arrival time.

About check-out procedure

Check-out time is 10:00. Please separate trash, turn off electricity/heating, and lock the door before leaving. Don't forget your belongings.

Do I need snow tires if I come by car in winter?

Yes, please use studless snow tires from around December as there is a possibility of snowfall.

How much does it snow?

From late December to the end of February, it can snow about 1 meter in a single day. Staying indoors and enjoying the snow country is also part of the experience.

How cold is it?

We have heating, but as it is a traditional house, the insulation is not high. Please keep doors closed tightly.

How far is it to Noh-butai?

Approximately 10 minutes on foot. There is also an art piece called "The Golden Playground" next to it.

Is a car necessary?

A car is convenient for sightseeing further away, but rental cycles are available at Matsudai Station.

Are there restaurants or supermarkets nearby?

There are supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance, but please check their business hours.

Can I cook for myself?

Yes, kitchen utensils and tableware are available in the kitchen for your use.

Is there a refrigerator?

Yes, there is a refrigerator in the kitchen. Feel free to use it.

Are there seasonings available?

No seasonings are provided, so please bring your own.

Can I use the irori (hearth)?

Yes, the irori is available. Please use the provided charcoal.
